Tony
Tony was referred to the Connect Befriending Service after the death of his wife who was suffering from Parkinson's.
He felt incredibly lonely.
After being matched with a brilliant befriending volunteer called Charlie, he now feels less isolated. Talking to Charlie gives him something to look forward to each week and he is able to talk about his wife's passing with someone outside of the family.
